MIXED MEDIA GIRL
I'm Marcy, the artist behind Mixed Media Girl, and I've been an artist my entire life. To me, it’s like breathing. It’s as simple as getting up in the morning and putting on clothes.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where I reside with my husband and daughter while working on my art.
With nearly 25 years of experience, I paint in every media including acrylic, oil, watercolor, and resin. I also make jewelry, candles, magnets, cards, paint vases, wine glasses, and so much more. Plus I love photography, videography, and singing (I just released an album!)
My main passion is mixed media and acrylic art, which is exactly why I started Mixed Media Girl. I aspire to share and uplift others with art and beauty, and to create as many artists as possible to fill this world with art.
Whether it’s playing music, painting, dancing, writing, or even cooking for just one hour a day, I believe the world would be much saner and happier with more artists in it. My goal is to inspire creativity and art as much as possible!

Learn the basics of resin art with Mixed Media Girl and finish 2 awesome projects in one class - a resin vase and a resin bowl! In this class you'll learn:
1. What are the different types of resin and when to use them
2. How to mix resin and resin colorants
3. Basic color theory
4. How to create a resin vase and bowl
5. A small additional resin project if time allows
All materials are included (you'll be able to take home any leftover supplies) and you will receive a resin mixing handout for reference.

How to effectively manage your time to build your art business while still having a life

Bring a notebook, tablet, and/or laptop! As a note, while this seminar is for all levels and will be made super simple even for people who are not tech savvy, this is not a tech seminar. I will not be able to help you learn to use a computer, smartphone, etc.
